Availble to suit 110mm and 160mm PVC, this compact unit is designed to stop backflow of water helping prevent flood damage and also rodent ingress with a minimal effect on the drainage system. At 300mm long there is a dual facility to allow the unit to be Open or Locked.

The PVC Non Return Valve is an anti flooding device for use in horizontal pipes. The unit closes the pipeline automatically when back flow occurs. The option exists to lock the valve in the closed position for added security. This would ensure that no through drainage would be allowed.
Installation
- Ensure the valve is set horizontally as it allready has a built in fall.
- Ensure that the unit is installed in accordance with the direction of flow as indicated by the arrow on the cover.
- Ensure that the handle is set in the open position to allow discharge to flow through it.
Maintenance
- The emergency closure device should ideally be tested once every six months. In case of dirt and deposits, remove the cover, clean the parts and gaskets.
